O Lily!
November 2002, 420 lilies, rope and latex paint, 0.5 x 4 x 2.5 m, Salle de Bains, Michel van Adrichem,

Spectators enter the space and see the reddish brown lilies streaming in one direction on a green
surface. They can linger on one of the empty grey borders on both sides. But if they want to get
any further, they have to cross over the surface, treading on the fragile flowers. A reinforced rope
- at 0.5 m height, horizontally suspended in an elliptical form, diverts the visitors. Little by little a
worn path emerges.
